GOLDEN MONKEY - Dazzling Black Tea

Legend has it that on Mount Taimu, trained monkeys used to pick the most hard-to-reach buds. Whether this is true or not, what’s in the cup is very real indeed: a black tea of exceptional smoothness.

This Fujian Dian Hong, made from carefully selected golden buds, produces an amber-coloured infusion with aromas of honey, cocoa and flowers. It is completely free of bitterness and has a remarkably long finish. A black tea for those who think they don’t like black tea.

Brewing: 95°C — 3–5 minutes. Use filtered or spring water to preserve the full subtlety of the flavours.
