Assam is the quintessential black tea — full-bodied, malty and rich. This one comes from the hills of Panchnoi and is hand-picked. The sort of tea that makes having milk with your morning tea worthwhile.
Its large, golden leaves, hand-picked in the gardens of Panchnoi, produce a full-bodied and elegant infusion with fruity and malty notes. Less harsh than a classic Assam, yet more structured than a Ceylon. Perfect on its own or with a dash of milk.
Brewing: 95°C — 3–5 minutes. Use filtered or spring water to preserve the full subtlety of the flavours.
