Rukeri - ORGANIC - Black tea from Rwanda

Rwanda has been producing tea since the 1950s, in lush green hills at an altitude of over 1,700 metres. This high-altitude terroir produces lively, well-balanced black teas with surprising floral notes.

This organic Rukeri tea offers a bright, coppery infusion, with a lovely tannic structure and notes that are both floral and malty. A black tea that’s quite different from the classic Assam or Ceylon varieties — lighter and more aromatic. Definitely worth trying.

Produced using organic farming methods.

Brewing: 95°C — 5 minutes. Use filtered or spring water to preserve the full subtlety of the flavours.
