YABUKITA MIDORI FIRST FLUSH

The first flush of Yabukita Midori — young leaves, lightly steamed, a golden-coloured brew. A Japanese sencha with the scent of fresh grass and the sweet, gentle notes of spring.

The first shoots of young leaves undergo a gentle steaming process (chumushi-cha) to produce a cup of tea with a pale golden-green colour and a sweet aroma of freshly cut grass. Its refreshing, clean flavour, combined with a gentle, pleasant astringency on the palate, makes it an excellent accompaniment to light meals.

Brewing: 75°C — 1 minute. Use filtered or spring water to preserve the full subtlety of the flavours.
